The Challenge
The initial state of the space that Conservation Hut Cafรฉ now occupies was dire, run-down, dusty and dark. It was an eyesore for the local Wentworth Falls community and the team were eager to make a lasting change.
Despite its dismal and neglected condition, the keen eye of our Blue Mountains Painting team saw incredible potential.
As we always do, our Project Managers took the time to understand the clientโs needs and expectations before briefing the team on what was required and setting the stage for the upcoming improvements.
The Solution
Right from the outset, the transformation process began to gain momentum.
Our passionate team started by ensuring that all doors, timber slats and ceiling dividers were stained to enhance their natural beauty and eradicate the previously dilapidated look.
Secondly, the kitchen, lights and selected walls received fresh coats of high-quality (BRAND) paint. This laid the foundation for the cafรฉโs overall aesthetics and established a balance between the old and the new โ just as the client had envisioned.
The project then moved into the third stage, with a focus on intricate details. Bathrooms and stairs were given particular attention, ensuring that every corner of the cafรฉ space was revitalised. Privacy frosting was also applied to ensure the space remained functional without compromising aesthetics.
Finally, the remaining walls and doors were painted, and our Blue Mountains Painting team restored the exterior eaves, rafters and timber panels, extending the transformation to the outside to provide an all-encompassing commercial improvement solution that was delivered on-time and on-budget.
The Outcome
The completion of the project resulted in a remarkable cafe transformation. The space, once tired and dreary, now radiates brightness and energy. The Blue Mountains Painting team strategically incorporated contrasting colours and elements as part of our full-service commercial improvement solution to ensure the cafรฉ was a visual delight for all. We also kept the original artworks on display, allowing them to stand out against the revitalised backdrop.
